| The Lac du Flambeau Tribe has established an Internal Audit function with the authority to plan, develop, and administer gaming audits/reviews of the internal controls and operations of Lake of the Torches Resort Casino and Bingo. The Internal Audit function will focus on conducting gaming audits covering regulations established by the National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Controls, State Gaming Compact, Tribal Gaming Minimum Internal Controls, Lake of the Torches System of Internal Controls as well as gaming department polices and procedures. The primary objective of the internal audit function is to provide a quality service to the Tribe by assisting gaming management and employees in the effective discharge of their responsibilities to maintain compliance to gaming regulations. Internal auditing will provide management with recommendations, counsel and information concerning the outcomes of audit activities and reviews. Reporting Structure The Internal Gaming Auditor will report to the Tribal President and Executive Board to provide the independence necessary to perform his/her duties without interference.
