Full-time college students living 75 miles or more away from their primary residence are eligible to receive funding up to $5,000.00 per academic year to assist with rent and utility (water, sewer and electricity only) expenses. The Housing Assistance program is limited to the first 15 students per semester.
Enrolled Lac du Flambeau Tribal Members are eligible to have one college admissions application fee or test fee up to $500.00 paid for per (fiscal) year by the Education Department.
Enrolled Lac du Flambeau Tribal Members graduating with an Associate Degree or higher are eligible to receive a graduation incentive (if available). Incentives are determined by the Education Department and may vary from year to year. Due to budgetary limitations, incentives may not be available. For students with a Higher Education Housing Assistance Loan balance, their graduation incentive will be applied directly to the student’s housing loan balance, provided the appropriate documentation is submitted.
