TOWN of LDF:

follows Wisconsin DNR Burning restrictions and permitting.  There is a sign at LDF Town Hall on the burn conditions that you will concur with WI DNR website.

Wisconsin DNR Burning Permit Information:

The DNR has lifted the burn ban in the County/ on the Reservation. The DNR still says that the burning risk is high and so they have the following rules in place:

Burning is allowed from 6 pm to midnight for a covered barrel, debris pile less than 6x6x6 feet in size, and grass or wooded area less than 1 acre. Any burning in excess of this requires a special permit through the local DNR Ranger Station.
Also recommend using alternative methods to burning.

WI DNR staff are asking to obtain a free burning permit online or by calling 1-888-WIS-BURN (947-2876). Permits can also be obtained in person however they are trying to limit to person to person contact.
 Woodruff DNR Office 715-356-5211 x 216.
