Peter Christensen Health Center continues to prepare for the coronavirus arriving here. Staff administered 12 tests, eleven tests came back negative. One test remains at the lab for analysis. If there is a confirmed case of coronavirus on the Reservation, we’ll announce it. PCHC staff’s priority is to maintain essential services for ongoing patient care by ramping up telehealth along with phone triage and treatment.

Diabetes appointments with Mary Sikora-Peterson and Nancy Jensch will be done by phone. Patients will be called at scheduled appointment times. No in-office visits.  CALL PCHC# 715-588-3371.

Any other emergency please call 911.

SHELTER AT HOME/SOCIAL DISTANCING

Currently- we are advising stay at home/shelter at home and practice social distancing for the duration that the Tribal Declaration of Emergency is in place.  You may see different dates by Federal, State or other local governments however; the Tribe/ICS will continue to review data, reports and consult with all entities before removing restrictions.  Please stay vigilant and stay home to keep your family & community safe.

  • Ø Only socialize with your family members that live with you.  This absolutely includes not letting your children play or be in contact with other children (even relatives) that do not live in the same household, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ø Minimize travel and designate one family to run essential errands (shopping and appointments, etc.).
  • Ø Remember you may not have the symptoms but can be passing the virus to others. These practices will minimize the spread of the virus.
  • Ø  Shelter-At-Home declaration guidelines, daily updates and other resources can be  found at  LDFTribe.com
