*Anyone who has been identified as a close contact with the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 has been contacted by the Community Health Department.
If you have NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY THE COMMUNITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, YOU HAVE NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A CLOSE CONTACT, AND THEREFORE IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED THAT YOU RECEIVE TESTING.
*NOTE* It is important to follow the self-isolation guidelines as recommended. This is the best practice to keep yourself, loved ones and community members safe. Choosing not to follow self-isolation guidelines may have a devastating impact on the community. Do your part to keep everyone safe!
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID- 19 (symptoms may include but not limited to; fever, cough, shortness of breath, chill, fatigue, headache, and new loss of taste or smell), please call PCHC and speak to the nurse who is providing COVID -19 screening at 715-588-3371.
Levels of exposures are defined as follows:
High-risk (close contacts) examples: person/s you live with in the same household
Medium-risk (contacts): person/s you have frequent contact with for extended periods of time, but do not live in the same household
Low- risk (casual minimal contact): person/s you have brief/limited interactions or contacts with covid positive.
The PCHC Community Health Department follows the same procedure or guidelines as other County Health Departments when a positive covid-19 is identified on our reservation. Contact Tracing is being conducted by PCHC/and/or the county of the patient.
We cannot provide the persons identification or address due to privacy rights or HIPPA violations
